Wavekit is not a social media network and does not provide monetization features for artists. We're entirely focused on hosting audio and providing an amazing player.

Many of our users use both SoundCloud and Wavekit accounts for different purposes.

Our player and audio can be reproduced from any country. Due to tax reasons we currently do not support subscription from Mexico.

The files you upload are securely stored in a private cloud service but the encoded MP3 will be publicly available online.

All audio being reproduced in a computer can simply be recorded and there's nothing we can do to prevent this.

Uploading

You can upload any type of audio content as long as you're the rights holder or have written permission to use it.

Yes, absolutely. Just contact us and we will create a custom plan to fit your needs.

You can only upload content that you're the owner of the copyright or have a broadcasting license.

For example, if you're a label or an artist creating DJ mixes to promote your music it would be ok to upload those to Wavekit.

If you're a radio station and want to host audio for a la carte streaming, contact us to make sure you have the necessary licenses to broadcast in your country.

We currently support uploading .wav, .aiff, and .flac. Check the supported file types for more details.

Billing and payments

Yes. After you cancel, your Wavekit plan will keep working until it expires.

If you wish to do so, you can delete your account and all your data will be deleted before your plan expires.

We use Stripe to process our payments which supports all major cards in the world. PayPal is not available yet.

Yes but please make sure Wavekit fit your needs during the 30-day trial.

Player

Yes. Our player uses standard HTML tags and can be embedded in any website.
